First plantings in the Dibella forest in India to offset CO2 emissions
We offset part of our CO2 emissions by planting trees near our production site in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. In doing so, we also contribute to an important ecosystem for the region.
The Dibella Forest is an ongoing project. Since launching the project, a total of around 4,300 trees have been planted. The target is 7,000 trees by the end of 2027.

Start cooperation with the Cotton made in Africa initiative
We integrate Cotton made in Africa-verified cotton into our supply chain, supporting socially and ecologically sustainable cotton production in Africa. With Cotton made in Africa, we are making our business model more sustainable. This enables us to minimise the environmental impact of our company and support the people in the growing regions.
2017

First business trip to India
Our first business trip to India gives our customers the opportunity to experience the entire textile journey – from the cotton harvest to manufacture – first-hand. Once a year, at harvest time in November, we pick cotton together with them, visit the processing plants, the farmers and their families in the villages. This allows our customers to experience the origin of our products in person and gain a first-hand insight into the culture and people behind them.
2017

Developing the poster illustrating our transparent supply chain
Together with the Berlin-based agency Scholz & Friends, we searched for a way to visualise our supply chain. Many people are not even aware of the processing steps that cotton has to go through before it can be turned into a finished product such as bed linen or towels. Nor are they aware of how many people are involved at each individual stage.
2016

GoodTextiles Foundation established
As a charitable foundation, the declared aim of the GoodTextiles Foundation is to create a sustainable textile supply chain. We aim to inspire textile industry professionals to create and utilise the positive effects for cotton farmers and textile workers.
We implement sustainable projects in the countries where our cotton originates from – Africa and India. These include social projects promoting education in all its forms and projects for the sustainable production of clean drinking water.
