40 Years of Dibella – Four Decades of Quality, Sustainability and Partnership

Aalten, 27 May 2026. This year, Dibella celebrates its 40th anniversary. Since its foundation in 1986, the company has developed into an internationally recognised specialist for high-quality textiles in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. The anniversary not only marks four successful decades, but also stands for continuity, innovative strength and responsible entrepreneurship..

From the very beginning, Dibella has pursued the goal of developing durable and functional textiles that meet the highest quality standards. Today, customers in numerous countries rely on the company’s expertise – particularly in the hospitality, gastronomy and healthcare sectors, as well as in the cruise and airline industries. Close partnerships with customers and suppliers form the foundation of this success, alongside a deep understanding of the specific requirements of professional users.

A key milestone in the company’s history is its early and consistent commitment to sustainability. For many years, Dibella has been one of the pioneers in the industry when it comes to fair working conditions, transparent supply chains and the use of certified materials. The contract textiles carry internationally recognised environmental and social certifications, underlining the company’s ambition to combine economic success with ecological and social responsibility.

“40 years of Dibella are, above all, the result of the trust of our customers, the loyalty of our partners and the daily commitment of our employees,” says Stefan Tenbusch, Managing Director at Dibella, on the occasion of the anniversary. “We are proud of this – and at the same time see it as motivation to continue consistently on our path in the future,” adds Carsten Ridder, Managing Director of Dibella.

Looking ahead, Dibella continues to focus on innovation, customer service and customised product solutions. The anniversary year is intended not only as an opportunity to reflect on the past, but above all as the starting point for the next chapters of a successful company history. This forward-looking development is also becoming visible externally with the start of construction of a new, larger company headquarters.
